Ko Olina Restaurants
Known for our tropical mai tais and incredibly fresh seafood, Oahu is full of amazing restaurants that are completely unique to the area. We've listed some of our favorites below with many located within the Ko Olina Beach Villas area and also a few favorites in other parts of the island.
Monkey Pod is perfect for any time of day, whether it's brunch, lunch, happy hour or dinner. They are located in the Ko Olina Station, near the Island Country Market. Directions to Monkey Pod >>
A fantastic dinner spot, Roy's is located just across the road from the Ko Olina Golf Club. They source many of their dishes from local farms and are described as internationally influenced and Hawaii inspired. You can also dine outdoors with a fantastic view of the 18th hole of the Ko Olina Golf Club course. Directions to Roys >>

Legend's is one of our absolute favorite lunch restaurants in China Town. Located in the Chinese Cultural Plaza, they have the most authentic Dim Sum on the island from 10:30AM-2PM Mon-Fri and 8AM-2PM Sat-Sun. Also gives you a great opportunity to explore China Town with all the open markets and shops. Directions to Legend's >>
For some upscale delicious Vietnamese food, Duc's Bistro is the perfect spot. Also offering some classic French cuisine, they often have weekly live piano and jazz music in the evenings.
If you're heading into Waikiki, you must stop by Duke's for a mai tai and appetizer. Their location offers great views of famous Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head, as well as live music every night. Be warned though, Duke's is no secret so be prepared to wait for a table or look for the open seating that is first-come, first-serve. Directions to Duke's >>
Le Bistro is without a doubt our favorite classy restaurant in all of Oahu. Located in the Niu Valley Shopping Mall, they serve incredible French cuisine. Though a bit pricey and a bit of a drive from Ko Olina, it's well worth it. Be sure to get reservations! Directions to Le Bistro >>
Kailua town is a wonderful town that's really grown up in the last few years, but still has a quaint, friendly atmosphere with one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii, Lanikai Beach. Plan to make a day of it and head to the famous Kalapawai Market and Café for terrific take-out sandwiches and deli items for a picnic at the beach. Directions to Kalapawai >>
Ko Olina Groceries
With a state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen to use, why not purchase some local groceries to stock the fridge and pantry? The closest grocery stores are located in Kapolei, which is about a 10 minute drive from the Ko Olina Beach Villas Resort. Safeway and local grocery store Foodland are both good options. We find that Safeway has a bigger selection, but Foodland has superior fresh, local produce.
If you just need something quickly and don't want to jump in the car, head to the Island Country Market. It is just a short walk from the Ko Olina Villas, right across the road from the Disney Hotel. The Island Country Market offers fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, wine, beer, liquor, as well as general sundry items. They also have a great deli for a quick delicious sandwich or salad.
